Position Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our innovative and diverse team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years’ experience and hold an advanced degree, but we will seriously consider others with the right combination of education and experiences. The successful applicant will be a dynamic team player who enjoys a good work-life balance and is not afraid of new challenges. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Management and coordination of projects and technical studies;

  • Field work including data and sample collection for risk assessment, baseline studies, and environmental monitoring;

  • Develop management practices and mitigation strategies;

  • Preparation and presentation of reports and proposals in both team and individual environments; and,

  • Enhancement of client relationships and development of new business opportunities with both public and private sector clients.



Education & Certifications

  • Advanced degree in Natural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience;

  • Class 5 driver’s license with good record; and,

  • Membership or eligibility in relevant professional association (i.e., PAg, RPBio, PGeo or PEng).


Specialized Knowledge

  • Well-rounded professional with diverse experiences, maintains strong reputation within their field(s), including but not limited to ecology, wildlife biology, environmental engineering, soil science;

  • First Nation knowledge or experience an asset;

  • Experience in Environmental Assessments an asset;

  • Strong technical writing ability; and,

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Lead and work effectively with others, with a positive approach;

  • Problem solve and make new plans as circumstances dictate; and,

  • A high level of physical fitness is a requirement for field work.
